“The Wood Witch” [CPG]

This is the second photo in my “CellPhone-Tography” Series. I took this photo on January 11, 2012 while on my river walk. This tree, or what was left of it seemed to cast off this feeling of personality. That to me seemed to be a sense of “eerie”, almost like though it was a dead tree it was alive. I love how an inanimate object can perceive to have a personality all its own.

Field of Past Dreams [CPG]

Here is the first post in my new “Cell-Phonetography” series. I took this today 1.11.12 at about 11 a.m. once uploaded to Dropbox and put on my ipad2 I used Snapseed to adjust the contrasts and lighting and used a “vintage” and “Frame” filter.

Cell-Phonetography

For the forseable future I am going to be doing a bit of an expirement that I have been wanting to do for sometime. I call it Cell-Phonetography; I have put it off for the longest time waiting to get a good phone with a great camera. Now with the 8 megapixel Droid Razr in my hands the final piece is in place. The coming post will all use current technology as I dabble with technology and art [I will use "CPG" after the title to denote these]. The tools that I will be using are my new Droid Razr, and my ipad2 with bluetooth keyboard for writing the post on my ipad. The only programs that I will use are Dropbox; to upload my photos to a place where I can access them from my ipad and an amazing photo app called Snapseed to adjust add effects and so on. I hope you enjoy my expirement and check back often for new pics.

Super Nova

Here is something a little off-beat for a photo blog; A drawing. I was at one time very heavily into drawing and have not done anything in sometime. I started doodling this morning and this became an all day picture that I added to little by little. I call it Super Nova though I am not sure the meaning behind the whole thing just enjoy it; as I hope you enjoy this departure from the norm!

The Walk

In the Mirror

I took this photo while out on a beautiful Autumn walk. It is a reflection in a stream that I flipped upside down to make the reflection like the actual trees. Just a little experimentation, like how it came out!

Pretty in Purple

I took this photo while out on the walk that i shot “Sunshine” on. It was such a beautiful shade of purple and the  mid afternoon sun was tickling its petals!!

I took this photo just the other day while out on a walk with my daughter. I love how bright and full of life it is!! There is beauty all around us if we open our eyes up to it!!
